I feel really good today!

The last few days I have felt really GREAT!!! I am not sick and the bleeding has stopped. I am still not allowed to have sex which is putting a damper on a few things. I am suppose to go back to the doctor on Tuesday and get another sono but I feel so good I might wait till the 10th when I get to see MY doctor.
The kids are getting really excited about going on the cruise and so am I! Rodney seems to be the only one that the jury is still out on. I wish he was not having such a hard time at work so he could enjoy the only family vacation we have ever been able to take. Maybe once we go he will forget everything that is going on at work and be able to relax and enjoy it! I can't wait!!!

We have a heart beat!!!

Okay so I go to the DR. and after 2 sonograms internally we saw the heart beat! I thought I was seeing things cause I want it so badly. Everything is okay for now. No response on the bleeding and cramping except "it happens sometimes" but no miscarriage! Thank the Lord! We are still "high risk" but things are looking up! :)

The weekend

The weekend was good! I stopped hurting so that is always a good sign! I have tossed my cookies several times now and that is a good sign too! Dr visit tomorrow so my hopes are high!! I went to baby's r us today and picked out the vrib I want. Maybe the baby genie will bring me what I want...Is that all it took for you Mindy. Ask and you shall receive!? lol More tomorrow!

Still Waiting

So today is a little bot better than yesterday. The bleeding has slowed and the cramping is starting to ease up. Doc says I have a 50/50 shot at losing the baby. I am just not ready to accept that! What is wrong? That is the question I want answered. I am going to a new doctor that come HIGHLY recommended by my boss. I trust her judgement so maybe this new doc can shed some light on things. My appt is Tueday at 12:30. More then!

To the hospital we go!

Today was rough!!! I started cramping and having a brownish blood discharge last night. I went to the ER today and got a pelvic exam, blood work, and an internal sonogram! That was different! I saw the baby or what is suppose to be a baby I guess. It just looks like a lil empty sack. I have sist on my left ovary and am not as far along as we thought. We are 5 weeks and 5 days today. I am suppose to stay down for a few days because we are at very high risk of a miscarriage. I am not going to let this baby go so easy! I am fighting and so is the baby. More later when we get back to the doctor. as of right now the baby is still in my uterus and we are praying it stays that way!!!

How I told him!

Let's face it...Rodney is not the most emotional person we've ever met! I had so many ideas on how to tell him. Well I decided to give him a singing card with lil aliens on it. The voices sounded like chipmunks! It said Congratulations! We don't know what you did but you must have done it right! Go do more good stuff more good stuff. He looked at me with this dumb look on his face and said are you pregnant? At this time I was laughing so hard I almost peed myself and I finally got out the words just open the package. Inside he found a lil baby bottle that said we're pregnant! He was shocked!
Dr appt Feb 10th. We find out just how many lil midgets are in ther :) Pray for 2 boys cause I woudl love to give him another heart attack! lol

When I found out!

Okay Okay so as most of you know we have been trying for a while. (about 8 months THIS time) I was at the end of my rope and decided to do fertility. We only did one round of clomid and that started in Dec. X-Mas nigt wa sthe "target date" and all was good :) Well, it said I couls start testing on the 4th so I woke up that morning and guess what NEGATIVE... Next day same...next day same... next day same... I was DONE! Friday morning I woke up and booked our very first family vacation to Mexico. Saturday morning rolled around and I had to go to work. Mind you this is the 1st Saturday I have worked in over a year. I saw the LAST test on the bathroom counter and decided hey what the hell I mine as well take this so I can throw them away till after Mexico! I thought I was seeing things. I yelled for Jaci to come in and asked her how many lines were on the test... She replied "I don't know it's a PLUS sign!" I freaked out! I grabbed her and we ran out the door to work! Rodney kept asking me when we were leaving whats the big deal why you smiling...Your going to spend money aren't you?
