Almost baby shower time

I am so excited! We are almost 24 weeks and things are looking really good! Liberty Leslie States will be joining our family sometime after Aug 15th and Sept 17. They are going to take her early due to the 2 valve cord. What else has been going on? Charity is out of school 9 days early for passing her task. Jaci was commended on both reading and math. Chy is driving and is doing great in school! Life could not get much better! Okay Okay if the people next door would move I would be happier but they are more than welcome in my book to stay just clean up your damn yard already! Their daughter (Rylie) has something wrong with her bones and I feel really bad for her and her family! Knowing what its like to have a child that may or may not have a serious problem is scary! Libby, with her cord freaks me out everyday so I pray for both of the girls to recover quickly! Other than that my baby shower is on for June and i can't wait! The neighbor is determined to ruin it but I am certain we will have a good day no matter what! Hope everyone is having a blessed month! More later!

Its been crazy at the States house!

So long time since I posted! Since my last post January 26th we took an AWESOME family vacation on a cruise to Mexico! The whole family had a great time. The day I got home I was FIRED from my job for being pregnant so that was fun! Joining the unemployment line has been challenging and needless to say depressing! We are BROKE all the time after spending our "nest egg" in Mexico but hey we had fun and I can not stay unemployed forever! (We hope anyways) The baby is doing good so I hope. When the job went so did the insurance! I have an interview on Tuesday and hope that it goes well! The company is small only 1 property here in Texas so promotion is basically not happening but the stress will be much less. Rodney is good! Building a fence all around the house with a big entry gate and I love it! I customized my baby bedding and can not wait to start paying on it so I can just get everything ready before Junior gets here! Well I have kids on spring break that are leaving for 5 days and I need o9 make sure they are packed and ready to go! More later!!!

I feel really good today!

The last few days I have felt really GREAT!!! I am not sick and the bleeding has stopped. I am still not allowed to have sex which is putting a damper on a few things. I am suppose to go back to the doctor on Tuesday and get another sono but I feel so good I might wait till the 10th when I get to see MY doctor.
The kids are getting really excited about going on the cruise and so am I! Rodney seems to be the only one that the jury is still out on. I wish he was not having such a hard time at work so he could enjoy the only family vacation we have ever been able to take. Maybe once we go he will forget everything that is going on at work and be able to relax and enjoy it! I can't wait!!!

We have a heart beat!!!

Okay so I go to the DR. and after 2 sonograms internally we saw the heart beat! I thought I was seeing things cause I want it so badly. Everything is okay for now. No response on the bleeding and cramping except "it happens sometimes" but no miscarriage! Thank the Lord! We are still "high risk" but things are looking up! :)

The weekend

The weekend was good! I stopped hurting so that is always a good sign! I have tossed my cookies several times now and that is a good sign too! Dr visit tomorrow so my hopes are high!! I went to baby's r us today and picked out the vrib I want. Maybe the baby genie will bring me what I want...Is that all it took for you Mindy. Ask and you shall receive!? lol More tomorrow!

Still Waiting

So today is a little bot better than yesterday. The bleeding has slowed and the cramping is starting to ease up. Doc says I have a 50/50 shot at losing the baby. I am just not ready to accept that! What is wrong? That is the question I want answered. I am going to a new doctor that come HIGHLY recommended by my boss. I trust her judgement so maybe this new doc can shed some light on things. My appt is Tueday at 12:30. More then!

To the hospital we go!

Today was rough!!! I started cramping and having a brownish blood discharge last night. I went to the ER today and got a pelvic exam, blood work, and an internal sonogram! That was different! I saw the baby or what is suppose to be a baby I guess. It just looks like a lil empty sack. I have sist on my left ovary and am not as far along as we thought. We are 5 weeks and 5 days today. I am suppose to stay down for a few days because we are at very high risk of a miscarriage. I am not going to let this baby go so easy! I am fighting and so is the baby. More later when we get back to the doctor. as of right now the baby is still in my uterus and we are praying it stays that way!!!
